The purpose of the program is to give the participants an understanding of the importance of human factors in establishing Safety Culture in the Maritime industry. It aims at providing tools to identify human factors and eliminating the root cause in case of an incident or mishap. The program will also touch upon Human Factors as a part of SIRE 2.0

The participants will get an understanding of Human Factors and how they are crucial in every aspect of on-board operations. They will deep dive into the following : 1. Why Human factors are important and how they are an integral part of our day- to-day operations 2. Understand the unique challenges at sea and how Human Factors contribute to it. 3. What are the tools required to identify the root cause of any incident and how human factors are underlying human errors. 4. An overview of Human Factors as a part of SIRE 2.0
