Jacking Operations for Engineers provides a focused and practical understanding of jack-up rig systems and their safe operation. The course combines technical theory with simulator-based training to give engineers the skills needed to plan, monitor, and control all phases of jacking and preloading.
Participants will study jack-up design, jacking systems, torque and braking, rack fixation, power management, and structural behavior, while learning how to apply operational limits, site-specific assessments, and risk controls. Realistic simulator exercises reinforce decision-making in critical scenarios such as rack phase difference, punch-through, and leg extraction.
This course equips engineers with the technical insight and operational confidence required to support safe, efficient, and compliant jack-up operations.
