This course addresses the growing need for mental health awareness, especially among employees who work in isolated environments or high-risk industries (such as offshore installations or other lone-working conditions). Organizations are increasingly recognizing that supporting mental well-being is essential not only for humane reasons but also for safety and productivity. International guidelines (e.g. WHO, ILO, ISO 45003:2021) emphasize that employers must ensure a psychologically healthy work environment.
This course provides knowledge and practical tools to help individuals understand what mental health is, recognize mental health challenges and apply strategies to maintain well-being.
While this is an awareness course (not a certified compliance course that mandates regular re-take), organizations may choose to include it in an annual training curriculum to keep awareness high (as knowledge refresher). Learners will engage with scenarios and reflective exercises, building empathy and self-awareness.
