For our newly established innovation and digitalization team, we are looking for Digital Specialist to work closely with our customers and internal stakeholders to design and shape the digital product roadmap and subsequently drive the development backlog from a product management capacity within the assigned journey.

Key responsibilities

A Digital Specialist for Frontend Developer & CMS/DXP Expert is responsible for overseeing the implementation, Integration of Web. This role requires a combination of technical skills and digital expertise to ensure the smooth running of these systems.

Purpose and general responsibilities of the position
• Managing the website frontend, including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting
• Customizing and integrating the CMS/DXP and using PWAs with other software and systems
• Customizing the Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) authoring interface and features for unique business cases based on user stories and technical designs
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Web Frontend and CMS/DXP Platforms.
• Developing and implementing website and CMS/DXP policies and procedures.

Specific responsibilities of the position
• Responsible for Technically implement and troubleshoot CMS/DXP & Web system and PWAs technically integrate with other core systems.
• Accountable for frontend web development, issues, downtime, quick fix and workaround
• Technically integrate CMS/DXP with other core systems and ensure seamless flow.
• Ensure high adaptation of CMS/DXP & Web to end users and BU’s.

We are looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in digital technologies, as well as experience with Frontend development and CMS/DXP Specialist. They should have a good understanding of web development and web optimization and performance techniques, and be able to manage and analyse data. Strong communication, project management and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role. Familiarity with Frontend Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, JavaScript Libraries, JavaScript framework would be a plus. Experience with JavaScript framework such as React, Vue.js, Angular, Node.js would also be desirable.

You have a minimum 3-5 years of experience with integrating and implementing web frontend and Content Management System and from engineering background.

Technically, you preferably have experience with
1. Strong knowledge and experience in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Tailwind, JavaScript (ES6), and knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
2. Proven experience working with Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).
3. Experience with RESTful Services and APIs, GraphQL API.
4. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5. Experience in CSS preprocessor like SASS, LESS
6. Familiarity with responsive design principles and implementation.
7. Strong knowledge of front-end optimization and performance techniques.
8. Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application adheres to them.

These are likely more nice to have
1. Knowledge of Node.js and backend development.
2. Familiarity with CMS/DXP platforms.
3. Understanding of CI/CD practices.
4. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps development.
As a person, you are structured in your way of working, and have attention to detail, an analytical mind-set and excellent problem-solving skills. Other key skills are individual initiative and personal accountability.
