GWO Basic Safety Offshore Training
Why should I take this course
GWO Basic Safety Offshore Training is mandatory for personnel working in the Wind Industry. The course provide you with the basic skills that will enable you to work in a safe manner in the wind industry, and to meet emergency response training requirements. The training is designed to accommodate personnel working both onshore and offshore.
Upon completion, you will possess an awareness of the hazards encountered when working within the wind industry and how to control and mitigate these hazards.
The course comply with the GWO Training Standards.
The GWO Basic Safety Offshore Training course is a combination of practical, real life scenario based training and classroom training. It's a 7–9 days course, consisting of 5 basic modules:
- GWO First Aid
- GWO Manual Handling
- GWO Fire Awareness
- GWO Working at Heights
- GWO Sea Survival
The objectives of GWO Basic Safety Offshore training is to teach you the basic skills to work in the wind industry, in compliance with GWO Training Standard.
The employees we have recruited who have completed the Maersk Training Diploma have an excellent attitude.
There are no formal admission requirements, but you must be physically and medically fit to participate in GWO Training.
