As our new Instructional Designer cum Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality instructional materials and ensuring their effectiveness through rigorous quality assurance processes. You will play a vital role in creating engaging and impactful learning experiences for Maritime, Oil and Gas and Wind Energy divisions.
Key responsibilities
Instructional Designer:
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
• Perform extensive content analysis and create design documents for proposed solutions.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, blended learning, job aids, quick reference guide and process documents.
• Ability to create immersive simulations, games, and assessment questions.
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
• Utilize authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software to develop and deliver content.
Quality Assurance Specialist:
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards for instructional materials.
• Review and evaluate instructional content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to instructional design principles.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of eLearning modules and other interactive elements to ensure functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to improve instructional materials.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
