Key responsibilities

• Conduct training according MT standard
• Development of new courses/projects
• Ensure that all assigned activities and courses are thoroughly prepared and conducted including the necessary resources
• Ensure that the equipment and resources are kept in good working order and left complete and ready for use during the next activity
• Observe and report to ensure that subcontractors’ and service companies’ activities fulfil the MT quality parameters

• Fluent in Portuguese both verbally and in writing
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing

Minimum requirements:
• Deck officer qualification – STCW II/1 or II/2
• Experience of a minimum 3 years working onboard vessels as a deck officer
• Qualified Nautical Institute DPO Unlimited Certification
• Experience of a minimum 1 year onboard of a DP vessel as a DP operator
• Holding a teaching/pedagogical methodology certificate is a differential
• A background in the marine industry as an instructor is a differential
• A minimum of 3 years working in Anchor Handling vessels is a differential
• A minimum of 4 years working in drilling units as DPO/SDPO is a differential
