Maersk Training in Newcastle has been a centre of excellence in UK since 2007 for primarily maritime training but now also include the latest offering of Wind High rescue and Technical training.
The training is offered to customers across different industries, like Wind, Maritime, Offshore, Industrial, Construction and the Energy sector. The training is offered to both experienced professionals and to young people and apprentices who like to gain the knowledge and skill sets required entering into the industry.
One stop solution
Maersk Training in Newcastle is located in brand new state-of-the-art facilities in North Shields, offering a complete solution for wind training, onshore and offshore, along with maritime training.
We offer a complete training solution for customers looking to plan for offshore training for their delegates. We provide classroom based, practical and on-site training depending on our customer requests. We are flexible with a ‘customer first’ approach. We have a wide range of industry accreditation and are approved by the majority of the major turbine manufacturers and maritime companies.
For the Wind industry, we offer a wide range of courses including, Siemens Level 2 /3 Technical Training, QCF First Aid at Work and Managing Safely for Offshore Renewables (IOSH). As the first training centre in the UK to be accredited by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO), we also offer all 5 modules of the GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and the GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR), alongside RenewableUK Work at Height and Rescue.
In collaboration with our partners in Offshore Training Newcastle, we offer OPITO Offshore Emergency Response Team Member (OERTM), OPITO Further Offshore Emergency Response Team Member (FOERTM) and STCW approved Fire Fighting training.
We also offer OPITO approved courses including BOSIET, MIST, HUET, FOET and PST for the Offshore industry in partnership with other training partners.
In Maritime training we provide ECDIS (generic and type specific e.g. Transas and Consilium), Engine Room Resource Management (ERM), Bridge Resource Management (BRM), Human Element Leadership & Management (HELM), and People Skills courses.
