Key responsibilities

Purpose and general responsibilities of the position
• The candidate will be responsible for managing e-learning course development projects and also developing e-Learning courses for MT Group.
• The candidate will work closely with subject matter experts, content development team, instructional designers, proof-readers, copyeditors, video content and post-production teams to ensure on-time and quality products.
• Candidate will have to closely liaise with third-party e-Learning technology and UX/UI development teams
Specific responsibilities of the position
• To own end to end project management and coordination of e-Learning course development
• Manage and maintain e-Learning course development requirements from internal stakeholders, content development schedule, budgets, timelines and project team meetings
• Research on various emerging technologies and suitable technology partners to develop best in class user experience for clients
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of e-Learning course development processes
• Develop an effective document management process for: organizing e-learning project related source files; scheduling periodic courses reviews for any updates needed; scheduling the expiration of training courses, if appropriate; tracking documentation and version control of all revisions and updates, etc.
• Coordinate and be responsible for intellectual property rights/copyrights for the training material
• Perform quality assurance checks on developed e-Learning courses
• Work with subject matter experts to design and develop audience-appropriate, clear, and concise training content with the help of our software/technology partner
• Work with LMS vendor, IT or software vendor to resolve any technical issues with the web or mobile app based training course or its performance
• Communicate e-Learning content product status and delivery dates to internal stakeholders and promptly address any related questions
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of e-Learning training to clients and digital performance testing on the level of competence gained by the participants
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on current project status, e-Learning course releases and supporting material
• Proactively identify and minimize risks to ensure that projects are completed on time
• Work with multi-site cross-functional project teams across time zones
• Participate in customer meetings wherever required to identify the needs and design solutions
Measurement/success criteria of the position
• Commercial acceptance and quality feedback from the end customer participant users
• Project Management – Meeting tight deadlines and execution within budget
• Benchmarking with the market – Clear differentiation on quality, experience and takeaways

Collaboration and support
• Work with cross-functional teams across geographies
• Coordinate with MT Centres’ operations team to create a pipeline of future e-Learning courses
• Coordinate with e-Learning development partner for timely delivery of quality content
• Work with inhouse IT team to ensure deliverables from software/technology partners are meeting internal IT policies

We are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (in a technical area: computer science, engineering, education, instructional design, information systems, technology)
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in instructional design and e-Learning content development project management
• Experience in project scoping, planning, estimating, scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling
• Thorough understanding of Instructional designer’s and content developer’s perspective of e-Learning development
• Good familiarity with e-Learning best practices, general trends in e-Learning, e-Learning authoring tools and LMS
• Experience administering, creating and hosting e-Learning programs and knowledge of content development and testing/survey tools
• Experience creating, editing, synchronizing and/or recording both audio and video for e-Learning courses
• Knowledge of e-Learning course development processes
• Knowledge of mobile learning best practices
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
