The course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to use a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) during helicopter travel in the UK offshore sector.
The course is delivered in accordance with OPITO requirements for the UK sector.

Prerequisites
No prerequisites.

Who is it for?
Personnel travelling by helicopter in the UK offshore sector who have not previously completed a shoulder measurement. The shoulder measurement is carried out at the training centre before the course starts.

Assessment
Participants are assessed throughout all practical training. If a participant does not successfully complete the practical training, the reason for the assessment outcome will be provided. At the end of the course, participants must complete a theoretical test. Participants who do not demonstrate achievement of the required competence objectives will not successfully complete the course.

Certification
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate in accordance with OPITO requirements for the UK sector.

Compressed Air
Use of compressed air during emergency situations.

Practical deployment and use of the CA-EBS.
Lifejacket Deployment
Practical deployment of the lifejacket during emergency situations.
