Key Learning Objectives
Objectives Learn about general Dynamic Positioning principles and Positioning Reference systems. Gain adequate knowledge to participate in the Dynamic Positioning Technical Course. Contents The training will follow elements from the programme for DP basic as outlined by the Nautical Institute Scheme of Training which follows the recommendations contained in The International Marine Contractors Association (The IMCA) guidelines. Outlining the national and international rules and regulations valid for Dynamic Positioning operations Practise the basic functions of the Dynamic Positioning systems by means of a DP simulator Position Reference Systems System structure
