The GWO Advanced Rescue Training Hub & Nacelle Combined training prepares you to carry out entry-type injured person rescues inside wind turbine generators. You'll practise using industry-standard rescue equipment and techniques that go beyond the basic safety training requirements for working at height.

You must hold a valid WINDA training record for GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) modules: Working at Heights, First Aid, and Manual Handling.

Assessment
Your knowledge, skills, and abilities are assessed continuously through practical, scenario-based exercises. Instructors observe your performance directly and ask questions to check understanding. Certification
After successfully completing the training, you'll receive a GWO Advanced Rescue Training certificate. This certificate is valid for two years and is recognised globally within the wind energy sector. It is issued by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO).

Rescue from Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade
Learn techniques for safely rescuing personnel from inside the hub, spinner, and blade areas of wind turbines.
Rescue from the Nacelle, Tower, and Basement
Master advanced methods for rescuing individuals from nacelles, towers, and basement sections.
