The Supervisor course addresses more advanced Managed Pressure Drilling topics such as influx management and pressure management. It builds upon the Surface backpressure MPD, variants of MPD, MPD problems and complications, and Pressurized Mud Cap Drilling content of the Operations course; therefore, successful completion of the Managed Pressure Drilling approved Operations course is recommended for personnel before taking the Supervisor course.
