The purpose of the training is to meet the mandatory standards of competence for Masters, engineering officers, and all personnel with immediate responsibility for the care and use of fuels and fuel systems on ships subject to the International Code of Safety for Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code) as specified in Table A-V/3-2 of the STCW Code.

• Masters and Engineering Officers. • Personnel with immediate responsibility for the care and use of fuels and fuel systems on vessels under the IGF Code.

• Completion of IGF Code Basic Training. • Valid identity document (Passport/ID Card).

• Participants will be assessed based on the competencies outlined in Table A-V/3-2 of the STCW Code. • The course includes simulated bunkering exercises as required by the STCW Code.

• Upon successful completion, you will receive a flag state-approved IGF Advanced Certificate of Proficiency (CoP). • Certification is contingent upon completing one real-life bunkering on an IGF Code vessel and either 30 days of sea time or a 5-day IGF Code Sea Time Reduction course.
