Introduction to IGF Code - Basic Training
The purpose of the training is to meet the mandatory standards of competence for seafarers responsible for designated safety duties associated with the care, use, or emergency response to the fuel on board ships subject to the International Code of Safety for Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels (IGF Code) specified in Table A-V/3-1 of the STCW Code.Course approved by the Danish Maritime Authority (DMA).

Prerequisites
To enrol, you must provide: • A valid identity document (passport or national ID) • A valid seafarer health certificate • A Basic Safety Training certificate (STCW Section A-VI/1)

Assessment
Competence is assessed in accordance with STCW Code Table A-V/3-1, through a combination of theory, practical exercises, and demonstrations.

Certification
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a certificate approved by the Danish Maritime Authority, recognised internationally under the STCW Convention.
