MT Course Code: 02-S4423B04

The skills required to take command of a MOB boat, lifeboat, or fast rescue boat in an offshore emergency are not maintained through drills alone. This refresher course ensures that designated personnel keep all three boat command certifications current in a single efficient programme at Maersk Training's Esbjerg facility. Revalidating MOB Boat Coxswain (MOB Båd Coxswain), Lifeboat Captain (Redningsbådsfører), and Fast Rescue Boat Coxswain (Hurtig Redningsbåd Coxswain) together means one set of joining arrangements, shared expiry dates, and hands-on practical time on the water that refreshes real operational competence across all three roles. The course meets the requirements of the 1995 STCW Convention, Sections A-VI/2-1 and A-VI/2-2, and is approved by the Danish Maritime Authority.
