Introduction to OPITO Shoulder Breadth Measurement

The Bideltoid (Shoulder) Measurement ensures offshore personnel can be safely and comfortably accommodated in helicopter seating. It verifies that shoulder width is compatible with aircraft seat and restraint systems, supporting compliance with aviation safety requirements and reducing risk during transport and in the event of an evacuation.
