The Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities e-learning, approved by the Danish Maritime Authority (DMA), complies with the requirements in the STCW Convention, Code, Part A, Section A-VI/1, paragraph 2, table A-VI/1-4, as amended. It covers the new competence in STCW Code table A VI/1 4 which requires all seafarers to contribute to the prevention of, and response to, violence and harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying and sexual assault.
The course comprises 6 modules (approximately 125' duration) and an end of course assessment:

5. The Human Factor
6.Prevention and Response to Violence and Harassment Onboard

From the 1st of January 2026, amendments adopted under the IMO Resolution MSC.560(108) came into effect, introducing additional competence elements within the STCW Convention, Table A-VI/1-4 Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR).
