Introduction to STCW A-VI/2-1 Proficiency in Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats Refresher

The aim of this Refresher course is

to provide training for those who

are assigned to crew a ship’s or

offshore installation lifeboat and

rescue boat, other than a fast

rescue boat, with the knowledge

and skills to safely and efficiently

launch and take charge of the

lifeboat and rescue boat in

emergency situations. This course

covers the requirements of the

1995 STCW Convention Chapter VI,

Section A-VI/2-1

Seafarers and offshore crew that require to refresh their certification according to STCW A-VI/2-1

Evaluated through drills and instructor observation.

Refresher certification for STCW A-VI/2-1, valid for 5 years
