OPITO Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) CA-EBS
Train personnel intended to work offshore, using helicopter as a means of transportation, so they can react safely in a helicopter emergency situation. The course is conducted according to OPITO standards.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have obtained basic knowledge plus skills on:
Helicopter safety
Helicopter escape
The use of a helicopter transit suit and life jacket
Practice in using the Emergency Breathing System
Evacuation from a helicopter
Life raft procedures
Underwater escape exercises and BRACE position
Inflating life jackets in water
Boarding a life raft
Sea survival swim sessions
Due to legal requirements, the BOSIET OPITO course will include Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS).
Provide familiarization with emergency in-flight procedures and equipment used in helicopters for the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
