Onshore and offshore survival training provides delegates with a range of knowledge and skills relevant to travelling offshore to rigs and turbines by helicopter and for working on onshore rigs and turbines.

The OPITO survival training includes a safety induction, fire safety and basic firefighting; first aid; using a CA-EBS; helicopter safety and escape; and survival at sea. Similar to the Oil & Gas requirements, the GWO survival involves working at height; manual handling; sea survival; first aid; and fire awareness.
