We are looking for a motivated and engaging GWO Basic Safety Training Instructor to join our growing team in the Humber Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the renewable energy sector, delivering industry-leading training that equips personnel with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work safely in onshore and offshore wind environments.

We Offer
As a GWO Instructor, you will join a highly skilled and supportive team dedicated to delivering training that genuinely makes a difference.
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based training programmes
Develop specialist knowledge across multiple GWO and safety disciplines
Work with a diverse range of delegates from the renewable energy industry
Travel to training centres and client locations throughout the UK
Be supported through ongoing professional development and instructor training
Play a key role in preparing personnel to work safely in challenging environments
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and assess training in accordance with GWO standards and company procedures
Facilitate both practical and theoretical learning sessions
Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for all delegates
Provide coaching, feedback, and support to delegates throughout their training
Maintain training equipment in a safe and serviceable condition
Conduct routine inspections and safety checks of facilities and equipment
Assist in the continuous improvement and development of training materials
Ensure all activities are carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality
Represent the company professionally and uphold company values at all times
We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
Experience delivering practical training, coaching, or instruction
Strong presentation and communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel when required
A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Desirable
Experience delivering GWO training courses
Renewable energy or wind industry experience
Working at Height experience
First Aid qualifications or experience
Lifting, technical, emergency response, military, or industrial safety background
Assessor qualifications
