About the Kuala Lumpur training centre
With Malaysia being one of the world’s largest oil and gas hubs, we’ve partnered with Velesto Energy Academy to expand our training solutions to customers in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Our facility near the KLCC centre offers face-to-face, virtual, and onboard training for clients in the oil and gas and maritime industries. We provide open/public courses such as Drilling Well Control, Well Intervention Pressure Control, and Jacking & Rig Move, as well as bespoke solutions tailored to specific needs.

Location: Maersk Training in Kuala Lumpur is centrally located only within 5 minutes’ walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, and around 1 hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).
Public Transport: The journey time between Kuala Lumpur Airport (KUL) and KLCC is around 51 minutes and covers a distance of 61km. Operated by KLIA Express and Rapid KL, KUL airport to KLCC service departs from KLIA T1 and arrives in KLCC.
Bus – Go KL City Bus is a convenient, free bus service for both visitors and residents of Kuala Lumpur. Comfortable, air-conditioned, pink coloured single-decker buses with free WiFi cruise circular routes covering many of the main sight-seeing attractions in the heart of the city.
Metro – KLCC LRT Station is an underground station located on basement of Avenue K, a shopping mall along Jalan Ampang. This station is less than 10 minute walk to our training centre.

Hotels: A wide selection of 3/4/5-star hotels are within walking distance of our centre.
Attractions: Our centre is less than a few minutes’ walk from Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park set within 50 acres. In a little over 20 minutes, you can be on the world-famous Jalan Alor Food Street. Just over 30 minutes’ walk and you will be in China Town with a fantastic selection of independent bars and restaurants set within traditional shop lots.
