The purpose of the IWCF Enhanced Well Control Level 4 with Well Operation CRM course is to equip participants with advanced well control techniques for both surface and subsea blowout preventer (BOP) installations, following International Well Control Forum (IWCF) standards and IOGP476 guidelines. This course builds upon standard supervisor-level knowledge, enabling participants to handle complex well control situations with greater confidence and skill. In addition to technical skills, the course integrates Well Operation Crew Resource Management (CRM), covering essential skills like leadership, communication, situational awareness, and decision-making.

Prerequisites
Participants should have:
- Candidates must have attended IWCF Level 4 training at least twice before and achieved at least an 80% pass mark in each individual component on the previous two examinations. Candidates should also demonstrate significant experience of continuous learning during their career to effectively carry out their well control responsibilities. Proof of Continuous Professional Development is required.

The course begins with two IWCF Level 4 exams covering well control equipment and procedures, establishing a foundational understanding required to advance in the course.
Volumetric Method
Provides in-depth training on the Volumetric Method for well control, including simulated challenges that enhance participants' ability to apply this technique under varying conditions.
Bullheading Techniques
Covers bullheading procedures through classroom theory, case studies, and simulator exercises, enabling participants to gain hands-on experience in applying this method to control well pressure.
Highly Deviated Well Control
Explores strategies for controlling wells with high deviation angles, with simulator exercises to navigate unique challenges presented by these complex well geometries.
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Integrates CRM skills based on IOGP 476, including leadership, communication, decision-making, and situational awareness, all practiced within simulator exercises to strengthen team dynamics and well control outcomes.
