How often do I need to complete this refresher?

Under the STCW Convention (Manila Amendments 2010), Advanced Fire Fighting certification must be revalidated every five years. This refresher course satisfies that requirement.

What happens if my certificate has already expired?

If your Advanced Fire Fighting certificate has lapsed, you may need to retake the full initial Advanced Fire Fighting course rather than the refresher. Please contact our team to confirm which course applies to your situation.

Do I need to bring anything?

You will need a valid photographic ID and your existing STCW Advanced Fire Fighting certificate. Medical screening documentation or a self-declaration form will be completed on arrival.

Inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fire detection and extinguishing systems and equipment on board

Investigation and reporting of fire incidents, including procedures for coordinating with shore-based fire fighters

Management and care of injured persons during and after a fire-fighting operation
