We have partnered with SG Access in Edinburgh to advance safety, access capability, and workforce readiness in high-risk environments for the wind industry.

SG Access brings hands-on experience across rope access, work-at-height, confined space operations, and fall protection. Their Edinburgh location operates as both an active project base and an IRATA-approved training centre, supporting industries such as renewables, energy, and infrastructure.

With courses delivered at either Penicuik or Ratho training sites, this collaboration links operational reality with structured learning, with a focus on building skills that transfer directly to site.

Turning experience into capability, supporting the renewables workforce

Participants develop practical ability in controlled, realistic settings, strengthening decision-making and confidence when working at height or in confined spaces.

Learning is guided by instructors with field experience, supported by safety supervision and rescue preparedness. This ensures that teams are ready to respond when situations change.

With demand for skilled technicians continuing to rise across the UK, this partnership supports that shift by preparing teams for work on wind assets, where precision and safety are critical.

Training aligns with GWO standards and integrates rope access expertise, supporting installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks.
