About the Kingswells training centre
Located 3 miles from Aberdeen City Centre and near Aberdeen International Airport, the Kingswells training centre, part of Prime Four business park, opened in 2015. Maersk Training offers courses in Oil and Gas, Emergency Management, Human Factors, and Crane operations, accredited by IWCF, IADC, and OPITO. Training can be customised and delivered onsite, at the centre, or virtually.
Our expert instructors challenge teams with realistic scenarios using advanced simulators and real-life experience. We offer onboard support, including competence assessments and safety evaluations. We emphasise the human element in training, combining human factor specialists and operational instructors to optimise performance, enhancing safety culture in offshore operations.

Maersk Training Aberdeen operates as a global simulation centre for oil and gas and drilling training, providing advanced simulators that replicate offshore installations, control rooms, and operational systems. You train for major emergency scenarios that focus on leadership, communication, and coordinated response, while practising decision-making under pressure across realistic, high-risk situations.
