DNV Maersk Training Stage 2 OCO Assessment
To ensure the candidate has sufficient competency to obtain OCO Stage 2 certification.
Theoretical exam and practical exam
Written exam consist of 75 questions in categories and pass bar at 80%
Practical exam consist of lifts in following categories
Lifting a load to a confined or restricted area
Lifting a load from a confined or restricted area
Lifting a load with an offset centre of gravity
Blind lift
Lift involving a load with a large surface area
Lifting a long load (>10m)
Lifting a tubular
Lifting a Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU)
Written and verbal questioning of:
Regulations and Safe Systems of Work
Checks to be undertaken on the Crane
Undertaking Crane Lifting Operations
Correctly Respond to Crane Malfunctions and Alarms
By passing the theoretical and practical assessments the delegate will have proved sufficient competence in carrying out all internal lifts unsupervised and will achieve a OCO Stage 2 certificat
