Electrically Trained Facility Operator

To attend the Shell Robert training facility, students need to be sponsored by their employer. Upon enrollment, the employer will be required to fill out an external agreement form. Please note that the Shell Robert training facility is currently not open to individuals who are not sponsored by their employer

This course provides fundamental electrical training for facility operators and maintenance technicians that operate electrical equipment. The course focuses on the basics of electrical systems, electrical equipment operation, motor starting/stopping, blueprint reading, identification of electrical hazards, and procedures for a safe lockout and tagging of electrical equipment. Use of workbook material; Shell Safety Documents; class and lab exercises; and video presentations give an in-depth coverage of the material. A final written and lab assessment will be administered to verify knowledge of course material. This course is Module-1 of 2. Module-1 Instructor Lead Training.
