Fire Warden Training

To provide candidates with knowledge of the causes and spread of fire as well as how to identify and select the correct First Aid Fire Appliance (FAFA) for dealing with fire.

Candidates will also be instructed on how to operate First Aid Fire Appliance (FAFA) correctly while maintaining personal safety.

Through a combination of classroom theory and practical exercises, our participants will gain the necessary knowledge to enable them to correctly select and use first aid fire appliance (FAFA).


The course consists of the following modules:

  • Latest Fire Statistics.
  • Impact of Fire on a company
  • Legal Responsibilities of the company and fire warden.
  • Fire Safety Policy.
  • Fire Action Plan.
  • Drills.
  • Firefighting equipment.
  • Means of Fighting the Fire.
  • Fire Detection and Fire Warning (including collector stations).
  • Means of escape.
  • To carry out fire safety checks.
  • Recording.

The course will provide candidates with background knowledge of relevant Fire Safety Legislation. They will also be given an understanding of the company’s Fire Safety Policy.

Delegates will also have the ability to implement the Fire Action Plan and be introduced to the duties and responsibilities of a Fire Warden.
