This course covers the duties of the Helicopter Landing Officer and Deck Assistants. Proper communications with helicopters, identifying/locating hazards on deck, helideck checks, passenger control, landing and takeoff operations, loading freight and aircraft crash/fire/rescue training focused on emergency response for heli-emergencies & passenger rescue.
