Train personnel intended to work offshore, using helicopter as a means of transportation, so they can react safely in a helicopter emergency situation. The course is conducted according to OPITO standards.

Upon completion of the course, participants will have obtained basic knowledge plus skills on:

• Helicopter safety
• Helicopter escape
• The use of a helicopter transit suit and life jacket
• Practice in using the Emergency Breathing System
• Evacuation from a helicopter
• Life raft procedures
• Underwater escape exercises and BRACE position
• Inflating life jackets in water
• Boarding a life raft
• Sea survival swim sessions

Due to legal requirements, the BOSIET OPITO course will include Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS).

Provide familiarization with emergency in-flight procedures and equipment used in helicopters for the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
