This course is basically to familiarize the participants on Scaffolding tower and the safety measures.
Assessment After completing the training, the participants will have to complete a theoretical test.
The objectives of this course are to identify any existing skills and knowledge, to provide further skills and knowledge on an individual basis, so, by the end of this course, participant will , • Be aware of the relevant regulations pertaining to the building of mobile access towers and their duties under those regulations. • Be able to inspect the components and ensure their compatibility. • Be able to select and inspect a suitable site for the erection of the equipment. • Be able to erect a safe and suitable tower for particular tasks. • Be conversant with the safety precautions to be taken before, during and after the erection of the tower. • Be able to dismantle the tower in a safe and efficient manner and carry out post-use inspection of components. • Be aware of the requirements for risk assessment and permit to work in the workplace. • Complete a theoretical paper to demonstrate a good level of knowledge.
