Are you our new student assistant? Maersk Training in Svendborg are looking for a new student assistant in our Customer Service department to start on the 1st of July 2024. Have you graduated from Gymnasium and are you looking to spend your gap year being part of a truly global company like Maersk Training, before continuing your studies?

We offer

As our new student assistant, you will be part of a competent and welcoming team, who oversees customer service, course coordination and other diverse administrative tasks. We guarantee a minimum of 22 hours weekly, which could increase depending on the level of activity.

You will be an important part of the team and will work independently with tasks across our different departments.

You will experience a dynamic work environment with contact to both national and international customers and partners.

Key responsibilities

Your main tasks will be:
– To ensure great customer experience, in person but also via phone and email correspondence
– To handle various tasks in our reception.
– To coordinate and book participants to our training courses and hotel accommodation.
– To liaise with course administration and customer service on a global level.
– To manage various ad hoc tasks.

We are looking for

That you have graduated from a gymnasium and can work with us for a minimum of 12 months. We also expect that you can see yourself in the below:
• You can perform well under pressure.
• Good communication skills.
• Independent.
• Detail oriented.
• Passionate with a drive and can-do mentality.
• Outgoing.
• Flexible.

You should be comfortable communicating mostly in English both in writing and speaking. You should also be familiar with the MS-Office package.
